Celebrating 50 years of Growth
50 Trees for 50 years!
In honor of the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department’s 50th Anniversary, 50 symbolic trees and shrubs are to be planted in state parks across North Dakota.
Ceremonial tree and shrub plantings will begin in June and run throughout the summer. These Commemorative Planting’s would not have been possible without the many donations and grants received over the last year. Parks visitors, volunteers, and department staff will play an important role in the 50th Anniversary Tree plantings. Everyone is welcome to lend a hand in this memorial event.
