Events - Calendar of special events, festivals, celebrations and tournaments hosted by North Dakota State Parks.
Interpretive Activities - Many of the North Dakota state parks offer a variety of interpretive programs and activities on weekends throughout the summer. Such programs and activities are fun for all ages and highlight the biological, historical and recreational aspects of the state parks. We invite you to join us at any and all of our interpretive programs, whether it is on a guided hike, a canoe adventure or a campfire program.
Each weekend during the summer, participating state parks host Dakota Explorers programs. These programs include fun activities such as nature hikes, crafts, bird watching, camping skills, bug hunts, water games, and more! They are a great way to get the kids outdoors and learning about the state’s natural, cultural, and historical resources. Take a look at our Dakota Explorers page for more information on the program.
