To celebrate National Trails Day, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is hosting their annual 15K Trail Run and a 5K Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 1st, 2019.
Registration is from 7:00-8:00 a.m. at the Commissary Gift Shop.
Races begin at 8:15 a.m. in front of the Custer House.
15K Trail Run at 8:15 am
5K Run Walk 8:25 am

The 15K trail run is designed for the adventurous runner in mind with challenging hills off road running. This is a true North Dakota Trail Run #NDlegendary. The route will provide participants with spectacular views of North Dakota’s oldest state park and of the grand Missouri River.
The 5K Family Fun Run/Walk is for all ages and will take you to the Park's northern boundary and back on the Bismarck-Mandan Bike Path. Both races will be timed events and results will be posted accordingly after the event.
This event is the second bonus hike in the "12 Months - 12 Hikes" challenge for 2019. Make up a missed hike or earn a hike credit by participating in the 15K or 5K events.
An ND State Parks Annual Pass, or $7 vehicle self-registration is required at the entrance to the park. Don't have an ND State Parks Annual Pass, you can make that purchase at the Visitor Center. For more information about the event call 701-667-6340.
