Your child can take an online version of the course at https://www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/northdakota/ and receive the same certification.

The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a youth snowmobile safety class in Minot. This class will certify riders 10 years of age and older who do not have a valid driver's license.
Snowmobile safety certification classes are held throughout the winter months starting in October. There is a fee charged for those who wish to become certified.
While the classes are aimed at certifying young riders, anyone who wishes to learn more about snowmobile safety (such as parents or children under 10) is encouraged to attend; no fee is charged.
Register by emailing ahillig@nd.gov. The class needs at least 6 six registered to be put on.
