After the winter of 2019, the crazy in everyone at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park has taken over. NOW it's your turn to be on the hunt for crazy and take those CRAZY/FOOLISH selfie/group photos for this #photoinspired hiking challenge!
We ask all participants to bring your smartphone or a digital camera to be used during the hike. Any way you take your photos you will be required to show the crazy evidence at the end to be entered to win a foolish prize.
It all starts at 1:00 pm on April 14th at the State Park Visitor Center!!! This is not RACE, but you need to have a creative finish so come early and get in the foolish mood. Everyone will have a chance to win great prizes with the Twitter & Instagram Photo Contest. The hike ends at 4:00 pm. Come anytime between 1 - 4 pm to complete the hike.
Each team/individual to complete the challenge will be entered in a drawing to win

For posts to qualify in the social media contests on Twitter and Instagram all posts must tag @Fortlincoln and must use the hashtag #NDParksFOOLS (Please update privacy settings to public)
You have until the 6:00 pm on April 14th, 2019 to submit your photo. Social engagement contest ends at NOON on April 15th 2019. Winners will be contacted through the respective social media platform and will receive a Scheels Gift Card and Fort Lincoln prize pack.
The Crazy Fools Hunt is the fourth hike in the 2019 "12 Months - 12 Hikes" Challenge. Hikers are to dress appropriately for the weather. This park event is great for the whole family. The length of the unguided hike can range from 2 to 3 miles on multiple path surfaces. The hike is moderately strenuous.
Trail and paths may not be stroller friendly.
As always with all of our hikes be sure to bring out the whole family for the monthly hikes of 2019 at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. It's always great fun in North Dakota State Parks.
