Ring in the New Year at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Parks with a national “First Day Hike 2020”. This annual tradition is a great way to start off the new year. The hike starts at the Commissary Store at 1:00 pm and will take you on a great hiking adventure in the park bringing you back to the Commissary Store where hot refreshments will be available to warm you up before you set out to enjoy the rest of your New Year’s Day!
The First Day Hike 2020 is the first hike in the 5th annual "12 Months - 12 Hikes" challenge.
Hikers are to dress appropriately for the weather. The hike is roughly two miles, moderately strenuous. The trail is not stroller friendly.
COME EARLY! This is the first hike to get yourself registered for the 2020 Hiking challenge and start marking off those hikes. Registration will be from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm in the Commissary Great Room

Event is FREE with an ND State Parks Annual Pass, or $7 vehicle entrance fee at the entrance to the state park. Don't have an ND State Parks Annual Pass, you can make that purchase at the hike.
