Escape the everyday hustle and bustle and join us for a day dedicated to realigning and recentering at the park. Our Fresh Air, Fresh Minds event is designed to help you connect with nature and nurture your mental well-being.
We’ll begin the day with a meditative walk tailored for individuals with sensory sensitivity and mindfulness needs. This peaceful experience features guided stations along the route, encouraging mindfulness and relaxation. To ensure a quiet and serene experience, time slots will be available throughout the morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing participants to move at their own pace.
In the afternoon, Ataraxis will offer a yoga class open to everyone (registration required, limited to the first 20 people). Additionally, you can embark on a self-guided journaling walk, with prompts placed along the trail to encourage you to appreciate and reflect on nature. Journals and route maps can be picked up at the visitor center during opening hours.
We invite everyone to come and enjoy a day of tranquility and connection in the great outdoors. All events are free with the purchase of a park entrance permit.
