Come for all the exciting entertainment at Fort Ransom State Park's Halloween in June! Bring the kids in costume Saturday, June 19, and go trick-or-treating around the campgrounds. Campers are encouraged to bring candy for trick-or-treaters and decorate their campsites!
Friday, June 18
8 pm— Mummy Races at the Visitor Center
Meet in the back of the Visitor Center to kick off Halloween!
Saturday, June 19
9-10 am—Coffee with the Camp Hosts at Site 27
10 am—Guided Hike starting at the Visitor Center
1 pm—Halloween Crafts at the Visitor Center
Get creative and add to your Halloween spirit with arts and crafts!
2 pm—Creatures of the Night at the VC
What critters come out at night?!? Don’t be scared, but prepare to learn about nocturnal animals!
4-6 pm—Sunne Farm Tour at the Sunne Farm
7-8 pm—Trick-or-Treating around the campgrounds and at the VC
Put your costume on and start trick-or-treating! Remember to only stop at campsites with Welcome Tags on their posts and at the VC.
9 pm—Scary Night Hike starting from Abel’s Hole Picnic Shelter
Sunday, June 20
10 am—Guided Hike starting at the Visitor Center
1-3 pm—Sunne Farm Tour at the Sunne Farm
The event is free of charge and open to the public. Vehicle permits are required for park entrance, purchase a daily permit for $7 or an annual permit for $35.
