Trees are SO relatable, right? Believe it or not, we have a lot in common with trees. Curious to find out more? Join our Park Interpreter, Frances, this upcoming weekend!
Gather at the LCSP Amphitheater on Friday, July 2 at 7 p.m. (CST). Participate in multiple activities to help you better understand how trees work, grow, and survive!
On Saturday, July 3, you can increase your tree identification skills! Meet Frances at the Traders Bay Visitor's Center at 7 p.m. (CST). While hiking along the trails, you will learn how to compare the similarities and differences of various trees. By the end of the hike, you will have your very own tree identification booklet!
Celebrate the Fourth of July by creating a patriotic, paper plate windcatcher at the Amphitheater on Sunday, July 4 at 7 p.m.(CST)! Decorate your campsite with the finished product.
