Experience the sweetest tradition of the season at Fort Stevenson State Park's Maple Sugaring Day on Saturday, April 12. This highly anticipated event brings history, hands-on learning, and delicious treats together for a day you won’t want to miss!
- Learn about the fascinating process of turning sap into syrup, with presentations at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. in the tent-camping loop near campsite T3.
- Fuel up with a pancake and sausage breakfast served by the Friends of Fort Stevenson, starting at 10 a.m.
- Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and bring the whole family for interactive kids’ activities throughout the day.
- Live music by Moon Cats at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. will set the perfect atmosphere while you sample maple sugar on snow, maple cotton candy, and maple popcorn.
