This Mother's Day, bring mom to the park for a relaxing hike. Use this time to reconnect or simply to enjoy the beauty of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. The guided hike lasts from 1-3 p.m. and starts in front of the Commissary on Cavalry Square (see map). The hike will be about 2-3 miles from start to finish. Special Mother's Day coffee will be available. We hope to see you there!
Be sure to get credit for your 12 Months - 12 Hikes Challenge before or after completing the hike. The Mother's Day Hike will go over parts of the qualifying Bloody Knife and Young Hawk trails. For more information about the challenge, click the following link https://www.parkrec.nd.gov/challenges
The event is free with an ND State Parks Annual Permit, or $7 vehicle self-registration at the entrance to the park. If you don't have an ND State Parks Annual Permit, you can make that purchase online or at the Commissary!
