This Mother's Day, bring Mom to the park for a relaxing hike. Use this time to reconnect or simply to enjoy the beauty of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.
The hike will begin at the Commissary Store at 1 pm. Please plan on arriving 20-30 minutes early for some shopping and coffee bar purchases.
This year, our Mother's Day Hike will go through gently rolling hills and up onto the Infantry Post. The terrain will be at times paved, gravel, and over mowed grass. Dogs on leashes are welcome. The route is mostly stroller friendly, moderately strenuous over the mowed grass section. Alternate routes along the hike will be pointed out by park staff. The total length of the hike from start to finish will be about 1.75 miles.
The event is free of charge and open to the public. An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park.
