Join us at Fort Stevenson State Park as we aim to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for Most People Making S'mores Simultaneously in celebration of our 50th anniversary.
 
EVENT TIMELINE: SATURDAY, MAY 18
  • Park opens at 8 a.m.
  • Event gate opens at 1:30 p.m. and closes at 2:45 p.m.
  • GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS attempt at 3 p.m.
  • Spectator viewing area will be open for guests to come and go throughout the event.
  • An official adjudicator will be on-site to verify the record.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • We need 892+ participants to break the record.
  • Please carpool if possible and follow signs to dedicated event parking.
  • Each participant must roast and make their own s'more, and s’mores must be eaten.
  • Wristbands will be handed out at the gate and will be required for entry into the designated event area (will accommodate up to 1,200)
  • Restrooms and concessions will be available.
  • Leashed pets are allowed in the park but for the safety of all guests, they will not be allowed in the event area.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
  • Free park entry for the day.
  • First 1,200 participants get a commemorative s'mores roasting stick, thanks to SCHEELS. S'mores supplies will be provided.
  • Bragging rights for helping us break the record!
     
This event is a fun-filled experience for the whole family! While participants need to be able to make their own s'mores, we have a dedicated spectator area with a comfort station and grassy space perfect for families with young children.
