Lewis & Clark State Park

Learn how to reduce your impact within the places you camp, like Lewis and Clark State Park! Big Foot is a master at leaving no trace, and you can be too by following the seven "Leave No Trace" principles!

Help our Park Interpreter, Frances, pick up trash around the park on Friday, June 25, at 7 p.m. (CST). Meet at the amphitheater! Trash bags will be provided.

On Saturday, June 26, at 7 p.m. (CST), Frances will share tips and tricks on how to camp responsibly! After learning about the "Leave No Trace" principles, you can put your knowledge to the test by investigating a campsite crime scene!

At 10 a.m. (CST) on Sunday, June 27, families are encouraged to work together to decorate a "We Leave No Trace" flag, that they can display at their campsites! One flag will be given to each family, until supplies last. Gather at the amphitheater!

Trader's Bay Visitor Center will be open for general purchasing from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. (CST).
