8 p.m. Survival Skills (Part I)
Join us at the amphitheater to learn some basic survival skills related to knot tying, fire starting, building shelters, first aid and survival gear.
Saturday, July 17
10 a.m. Dakota Explorers: Fire Building & Solar Ovens
Kids of all ages are welcome to meet at the amphitheater to learn various ways to build a fire in a survival situation (pending any burn restrictions). We'll also be constructing a solar oven out of basic materials and enjoying a sweet treat. Young participants should be accompanied by an adult.
8 p.m. Survival Skills (Part II)
Put your survival skills to the test by joining us at the amphitheater where we will be building fires (pending any burn restrictions) and building shelters. If you missed Part I, we'll make sure you survive!
