9:30 p.m. Digital Imaging to Paintings
Join Aaron at the amphitheater to watch the process he utilizes to transform a raw photograph into an abstracted painting. Take these tips and tricks home and potentially take your own photography skills to new places!
Saturday, July 31
10 a.m. Dakota Explorers: Art in the Park
Here’s to yet another great way to connect with the outdoors. Kids of all ages are encouraged to meet park staff at the amphitheater to create art projects to take home!
7 p.m. Photography Hike
Meet at the Warming House to set out on a trail adventure to Oriole Island. Along the way, Aaron will demonstrate that you don’t need an expensive camera to take great nature photographs. There are a lot of great places in our state park for which to take pictures, even on short hikes! Please bring a camera of your choice, wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared to walk approximately 1.5 miles.
