GPS coordinates mark the spot... let's go find some hidden treasures!

Have you heard of geocaching before? Would you like to try? This weekend is the perfect opportunity to learn something new or participate in an activity that you've loved for years. Geocaching is fun for everyone!

Learn the basics of how geocaching works on Friday, July 30, at 7 p.m. (CST). Put your knowledge to the test by finding a cache around the amphitheater.

On Saturday, July 31, at 7 p.m. (CST), you can hike to find LCSP's southern unit geocache with interpreter, Frances. Join her at the Traders Bay Visitor's Center.

End the weekend with one more opportunity to find the "hidden treasure" by hiking the northern unit of LCSP. Gather at the amphitheater at 10 a.m. (CST) on Sunday, August 1.

Both hikes on Saturday and Sunday will be roughly two miles in length. Please dress and pack items accordingly.

Ahoy, me hearties!
