Come celebrate the Christmas spirit at Fort Ransom State Park's Christmas in July! Decorate your campsite for Christmas. There will also be a parade around the campgrounds to see Santa and get some treats!
Friday, July 15
5-6 pm - Sunne Farm Tour at the Sunne Farm.
8 pm - Jingle Bell Hike: Join our interpreter for a fun yuletide-themed hike on the Little Twig Trail. Meet at picnic tables.
Saturday, July 16
9-10 am - Free coffee with the camp hosts at site #27.
1-2 pm - Let's Decorate! Dakota Explorers of any age, join us at the Visitors Center to decorate a wooden puzzle and cookies of your favorite park animal. Then make some decorations for your campsite!
2-3 pm - Christmas in North Dakota: Learn about three distinct cultures in North Dakota and some of the Christmas traditions of each.
3-3:30 pm - Santa Bike Parade: Santa will be riding around the campground, passing out treats on his bike "sleigh". If you have one, bring your bike and join in the parade!
4-5 pm -Sunne Farm Tour at the Sunne Farm.
7 pm - Prairie Yuletide Festival: Gather at the Visitors Center to sample some Christmas treats from different North Dakotan traditions while enjoying some unique holiday carols.
Sunday, July 17
9-10 am - Free coffee with the camp hosts at site #27.
11-12 pm - Dakota Explorers Ornament Hunt: Head out on the trail for an exciting ornament scavenger hunt. Whitetail Loop Trail - Meet at bridge.
4 pm - Sunne Farm Tour at the Sunne Farm.

This event is free of charge. An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park.
