Take on the Grahams Island adventure, if you dare. Learn different survival skills and compete against other campers to build shelters and fires. Join in our Father's Day Hike or take a geocaching crash course. Lots of fun to be had this weekend at Grahams Island!
FRIDAY NIGHT
Shelters and Preparedness
Come learn about different types of shelters and how to prepare for any trip. Compete to see who can build the best shelter from provided supplies.
7 p.m. at the amphitheater
SATURDAY
Knot Tying Workshop
Learn to tie knots that are practical to use and could be lifesaving.
1-3 p.m. at the picnic shelter
Fire-Building Competition
Race to see who can build a fire the fastest without using lighters, matches, or strikers. Bonfire to follow. Bring s'mores fixings!
SUNDAY
Father's Day Hike
Hit the Sivert Thompson Loop trail before heading home or
out on the water!
Guided walk at 10 a.m. from the main trailhead
Geocaching Crash Course
Learn the basics of geocaching before setting off to find the new caches on Grahams Island.
