Come experience the sights and sounds of the 1860s Military at Fort Ransom State Park June 10-11. Visit the park as reenactors and living historians come together to recreate the life of infantry soldiers on the campaign trail.
Throughout Saturday and Sunday several programs will be offered in order to give visitors a more in-depth view of 1860s army life. These include firing demonstrations, talks on equipment, gear, and food of the period, and drill demonstrations.

6:00PM - 6:30PM: Ration Issue and Field Cooking

The event is free of charge and open to the public. An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park.
