Lake Metigoshe State Park
Build your own custom fishing rod with step-by-step instruction from Chuck DeRemer of Chuck's Custom Rods (Fargo, ND). This workshop is for anyone over the age of 14 (age 12, if participant is registering with a parent/guardian). Participation is limited.
Register online at https://bit.ly/LMSPShowClix. Registration closes February 9, 2024 at 11:59pm unless sold out. Cost is $250 and includes the cost of the basic rod building materials in addition to breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Optional handle upgrades will be available for additional fees that are to be paid for onsite.
Ticket sales are final, no exceptions. If you have registered, but are no longer able to attend, you can send a replacement as long as prior notification is given to aschimetz@nd.gov on or prior to 5pm on February 14, 2024.
Workshop schedule consists of Friday (6pm-9pm) and all day Saturday (9am-5pm). Rods must continually spin during drying process overnight on Saturday; fishing rods will be available for pick-up at 8am on Sunday morning.
Workshop will take place in the Lake Metigoshe State Park Dining Hall, located near the entrance of the park.
