50th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating 50 years of Fort Stevenson State Park by bringing together classic events, the Sailboat Regatta, Club de Skinautique Waterski show and Lighted Boat Parade, with some fun additions. If you're camping with us for the weekend, join in the fun by participating in the campsite decorating contest! The theme is 50th birthday party and sites will be judged at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 3. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners!

Free hot dogs, chips and water will be served until supplies last

3-5 pm
Kids Ski Clinic
Club de Skinautique is holding a clinic for youth interested in learning more about water skiing. Participants (ages 9+) will have the chance to learn about the different acts the club performs, have some on-land practice, ski behind the boat and get an explanation of the equipment used.  Kids can bring skis and a life jacket if they have them but it's not required.  Parents are encouraged to stay. A free-will donation to the club is the only request.  

 

Food trucks Jamaican Vybz and Backdraft BBQ will begin serving along with ATypical Brewing

Club de Skinautique Waterski Show
Bring a lawn chair and gather on the shore of Garrison Bay to watch the Club de Skinautique performers from Bottineau

6:30-9:30 pm
Live music by Classic Rhythm, featuring a wide variety of music from the 50s, 60s & 70s

9:30-10 pm
Lighted Boat Parade 
First, second and third place prizes will be awarded. Stop in or contact the park office to register.
