Cross Ranch State Park
Cross Ranch State Park will host their Annual Bison Bash Weekend August 9-11! Activities will include fun walk or run, scavenger hunt, bison fact presentation and trivia. As well as a guided hike on the nature preserve. This year we will have a fun-filled water-themed obstacle course for the kids! Make sure to bring their water clothes, shoes and towels.
Friday
7 pm - Bison Basics: Interpretive program at the amphitheater
Saturday
All Day: Drafts, games and scavenger hunt at the Visitor Center
9 am - Hike at TNC with a park ranger and nature preserve staff (1-1.5 miles. No pets or bikes.)
4 pm - Cinnamon Charge Water Obstacle Course
7 pm - Bison Trivia at the amphitheater
Sunday
10 am - 5k & 10k Fun Run: Registration starts at 9 am at the Visitor Center
The event is free of charge and open to the public. An annual or daily vehicle permit is required for park entrance and can be purchased online or at the park.
