Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of decorating birdhouses for the holidays, followed by our annual Carol Sing at the Hallson Church. Bring $5 for supplies. All are welcome!

This event takes you back to 1875 where you can experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas in the frontier Army. Our team and period reenactors in military and civilian dress will be on hand to educate and entertain the public through historic presentations, games, carols, period food and beverages, historic firearm demonstrations (conditions permitting), gift & decoration-making, and more!

Join us for exciting make-it, take-it classes during the Dickens Festival! All classes will be held at the park's Visitor Center. Participants are welcome to drop in anytime between 10-4 each day, but please note that space and supplies are limited!

Join us and the Northeast North Dakota Heritage Association for our annual Christmas Open House! 

The Lake Agassiz Radio Club of Grand Forks will be setting up an amateur radio station at the Turtle River State Park Chalet as part of the Nationally recognized “Parks on the Air” (POTA) event. The public is invited to visit the radio station at the Chalet where club members can highlight the hobby of amateur radio and provide more detail on the POTA events.

Hike the Halloween-themed decorated trail. Bring the little monsters dressed up for a trick-or-treat opportunity.

Join NDPRD team members for an introduction to Family Camping. This event is designed to be a safe, family-friendly environment for all participants to try new activities, outdoor skills, and meet other families! 

Join us for a fall Astronomy Party with local expert Dan Bakke! We will be hosting on Saturday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. and s'mores will be available for the making.
